In the cavernous halls of Kyunden Suzume there was another guest in Dragon colors one who did not carry the banners of Hantei or Touturi. Though a common bushi the one handed man had earned the trust and respect of the guardsmen by standing beside them watching for signs of plague and especially by releasing the few Sparrow who had become his followers. After hearing the Daimyo's story he spoke to the Sparrow soldiers that he was seated with. I would applaud if I could. One man lets a single sharp laugh escape, but all look uncumfortable that their new friend would so easilly joke about his deformity. Brother against brother is a terible thing as much as I think Keneaka is in the wrong I will not and can not turn my blade against my lord Takezo.
In another room of the castle The Last Agasha blade flashes with a moment of heat as Machu speaks of his loyalty to the Dragon champion.
Unfortunatelly neither Machu nor his new friend were aware of the acustics of the hall and that the champion could easily hear all they had said, if he felt like recognizing such a common and humble visitor.

Ayame blushed cutely and said with a shy voice, thank you, Satoru-sama is much too kind. She participated in the toast, gracefully raising a cup of sake in honor of her wise host.
She spent the remainder of the dinner swapping stories with other Sparrows and guests, sometimes engaging in seemingly frivolous conversation just to enjoy the attention brought upon her person (and to try fishing precious information with innocent comments). Still, she kept her eyes and ears open, for they were there with a purpose.
Much to her amusement, words drifted towards her during the dinner, making her aware of a very interesting visitor that was also passing through Kyuden Suzume that evening. Another Dragon, here? I should have noticed it earlier. Did Manji not know or is this one of his tests? the fox girl thought to herself while pouting cutely, owww, now I'm dying of curiosity... guess I'll have to wait for the dinner to be over to check. Should I comment this with Satoru-sama? and, while she awaited, trying to find an answer for her simple doubts, time passed.

Later in the evening, Satoru makes his way to Ayame. The others seated around her give way to make room for the Champion, who sits across from her.
"I hope you have been joying yourself as our guest, Izaku Ayame-san," he says to her. He takes a sip of his tea. "About your...'solution'...you presented for my story; where would you look to find this Brother?"

Yes Suzume-sama. I am grateful for the hospitality offered by you and your people, Ayame answered while offering Satoru a polite bow.
About your question, she answered with a soft tone, while sipping on a hot cup of jasmine tea, the Phoenix have finally reached Permission City and, if the reports are correct, their Champion is unfortunately arguing with the Emerald Champion over the control of the forces they have at their disposal. While the war rages on in Toshi Ranbo and its vicinities, I believe the Phoenix's lands are still far from any aggression, Ayame paused for a moment to gracefully take another sip at her tea, then calmly continued, if my memory serves me well, the Phoenix, albeit not as pacifist as the Asahina, put much value in preserving lives and The Wolf became an Isawa.
But maybe it would be too dangerous for one who is neutral to be seen in the lands of the Great Clans, she remarked cautiously. If you allow me to say, I believe there may be another guest within your halls whose opinion we could hear, then, Ayame told Satoru about the Mirumoto who now enjoyed the company of the Sparrow guards.
OOC: The Wolf is Sezaru's moniker. And, hmmm, maybe we should PM Mirumoto Machu to see how he wants to participate in the topic.

OOC: Remember Machu is almost painfully humble and Chris is a little uncomfortable with fourum RP so you will have to engage me.
The right sleave of Machu's kimono is the red and orange of the Phoenix though.

OOC: No problem Satoru. I've been wanting to post something in Machu's thread about the Sparrow's Tales but haven't managed to do it yet either. Since these events are occurring in parallel to the war, I think we have some time to spare ;D
