Hmm, I am not sure if it was mentioned on any edition, but I might be wrong. Never bothered myself with it. But this is what I know: A proper samurai would get married and have children - because it's his duty to have a family. But if he wants to have a male (or a female) lover... it's his personal thing. As long as he can maintain his duty (family) - no one should care. But he has to be discreet. It's just like... as long you do what you have to do... no one cares about what you do as an extra activity. Rokugani are all about an appearance. Just take a look at Scorpions ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

What is the rokugani attitude towards lgbt issues (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual/transgendered)? The Rokugani attitude is that there are no LGBT issues, because such things are simply not spoken of. while they do exist (especially rumors and innuendo about pansy cranes), in a hyper-conservative, super-traditionalist warrior society where Making Babies is the point of marriage, alternate sexuality is something done in private, just like everything else that deals with one's personal life, and is very simply not for public knowledge. it is permissible, as long as you uphold the traditional facade and produce children (through the standard method or adoption), no one cares what you do except you, your spouse, and your lover(s). HOWEVER, if such things come to light, you'll all be thoroughly shamed for deviating from the norm (just like a drunk, a slut (male or female), a thief, or a coward). If anyone makes an off-hand comment or tries to blackmail you about it, duel 'em and kill 'em. Remember, there is no such thing as 'proof' in Rokugani justice; it's all about testimony, and if the other guy is dead, your truth was obviously more correct than his. TL,DR: get a beard.

So I mastered the "Sneak Past the Checkpoint" solution to the checkpoint encounter and got Stealthy. For mastering "Browbeat Guards with Authority" I heard you get Control. So two questions:
Where do I get a badge of authority and writ of authority: magistrate?
And, before I do anything stupid:
Do I get anything for presenting my travel papers like a sucker or getting detained like a sucker?

Is there a beginner's guide or wiki compiled for the Emerald Empire game? If not, would the mods and or the developers be remiss if I worked on one?

Is there any item (body, symbol, Position and soul) that has lore? Where to get them?
Thanks in advance.

For position, Tensai gives you a good bit of lore. You get it for completing all the Tensai missions in Phoenix lands.

Is there any item (body, symbol, Position and soul) that has lore? Where to get them? My current Lore set is: Puzzle Box (Hand) (+10) Wisdom Gained (Kata) (+12) Phoenix Inquisitor (Follower) (+10) Tensai (Position) (+15) Phoenix Inquisitor is gained for using bloodspeaker tools somewhere on phoenix lands if I'm not mistaken.

I believe the Inquisitor can also be found by slaying undead, but I don't remember if it was at Shiro Chuda or Fields of the Dead.
My question: How many tattoos are there? I have two and have seen one other. Is there only the one location/task to get them?

We know about the following: Dragon tattoo, Mountain tattoo, Dove tattoo. All at the same place. At the tattoo artist.
You attract the Phoenix Inquisitor by defeating Maho-tsukai at Shiro Chuda.

You get nothing for being detained. The penalty is in the fate to exp ratio.

Are we going to wind up getting a place where we can drop off Black Scrolls? Hopefully for massive honor, glory and xp?

Probably nowhere yet (if I am correct). I have some, but didn't find any place for it.

And, before I do anything stupid: Do I get anything for presenting my travel papers like a sucker or getting detained like a sucker? I also have wondered about this. While I always present my papers as a proper and dutiful samurai (which eventually nets you those papers as a Hand item -Etiquette 7, Courage 3), I wonder how do you become a Magistrate?
