Simple:
If you have (of what I understand) a bug with taint/infamy like: you equip an item that gives + taint/infamy and when you take it off then taint/infamy is still there, EVEN if you didn't have any before you wear it... then it means you have to report it to Jay.
I had something like that before, but with koku. It didn't take my koku away (perm) but I had more after taking equipment off than before I've used it.
