3/23/2011: News from the Imperial Court

The Emperor has ordered the Emerald Champion to raise another army, to assist against threats on the Empire's borders. As a result, the Emerald Champion has begun levying troops from North Hub Village for the Imperial legions.

Courtiers in the Imperial Court whisper of resentment towards the Shogun's high-handed behavior, though few dare to speak of this openly.

Meanwhile, the treaty negotiations to settle the matter of the Three Sides River are nearly completed (these actions will go away soon).

[Takezo]

In the Dragon army's provisional headquarters in Shiro Moto, Mirumoto Takezo sits down to review the morning's orders and correspondence.

Sipping a too-hot cup of hojicha - Takezo blows into the cup as he sips, a little plume of steam greeting the tent's chill air - he breaks the Imperial seal of the top scroll and scans its contents.

Setting the cup down, he looks across the desk at his hatamoto.

"Two large armies in one Empire can only end... interestingly."

All this opportunities. New ways to gain enemies/allies.

Two armies that have the same goal (And totally aren't led by ambitious people ).

This will be interesting.

Conspire against the Shogun <-- mastering this one does not show in recent events or even in the journal. Was that intentional?

You know... I don't see that mission at all. Maybe I am missing a required item.

Possibly, since I haven't pissed off the Shogun yet. ;D

How foes one get iperial orders? Is this one of the things that weve been cut off from by have kaneka as an enemy?

Not sure. It's probably a drop for one of the new jobs at Castle of the Emerald Champion. Haven't tried though so it's unconfirmed.

You gain it by reporting to the Emerald Champion

And no, being an enemy of kaneka doesn't cut you off from it ;D

(And I think that the quest with conspiration not showing in the news feed is intentional. Because maybe some players just don't want their friends to know they are plotting ;D)

I wonder where you can manage to gain Hachi as a sworn enemy? Not that I need to make more people angry with me, just curious.
