Is it also an 8-click job?

Meditate at the Shrine of the Ki-Rin AND Make an Offering seem to be 8-click jobs

Did any of you noticed... that Make an Offering is a bit weird? Had 2 silver... used it, so went for more. After I came back and clicked once... my 25% mastery... went to 37%. This is the first time that I see something like that... O.o

It's because each click is one day of meditation and the premise is an 8 day meditation

I'm glad the reward sounds good, considering that silver is an utter pain to get. Seriously, Phoenix merchants, why are you so stingy? /fistshake

Whenever you need some silver, there is a place where you can get some guaranteed every click.... You must be willing to pay though....

Apparently not, when I looked last night that "random" Tamori was winning the competition. ;P

Well, just as long as Sprinkles doesn't win. I think you should only get one chance to save up all your points to ROFL-stomp everyone in a competition, and it sounds like he already did that at Winter Court. So, go Tamori, I guess.

Sprinkles is wining again BTW.
I have a distaste for the 'pooling' points. No offense to anyone who has done it. It is allowed in the game, so by all means, do it, but I don't necessarily care that it is possible to do so.

Well I suppose since it's been so long since Winter Court, it could be possible; no one was exactly high level at that time, so there are a lot of levels between then and now to save up points with. Especially if one did not use them on other contests up to this point. And on another note, once you are high level and do use all those points, the levels come slower and slower... So once you use a whole bunch of them up to finally get that contest, you're likely out of luck unless another of that contest comes up again, so long as someone is out there waiting with points for the next contest to put their skills into that. So I suppose I'm trying to say I see the balancing factors; sure you win one contest (or very rarely 2 could be possible) but you're pigeon holing yourself into contests of that / those types for the future. It also means not being as balanced skill-wise, putting a larger strain on needing to switch equipment in order to get high end missions done that require 40+ skill.
That said, I would prefer having to spend them as you level, that way if you want to be good at something you have to put a conscientious effort into it, rather then deciding you're going to be good at it one day since it seems important to be at that very moment. But really, I suppose that's more a RP view than anything inherently wrong with the system.
(besides, it's not like I don't have points saved up at the moment. For different reasons [in order to make sure I can do missions if I don't have the skill since my equipment selection is shoddy], but it's not like I don't use the save to spend later system too)
