To the most esteemed daimyo of the Tonbo,
It has come to be known that the armies of the Dragon march down from their ancestral mountainside fortresses and into your lands to engage the forces that be during these troubling times. War is a chaotic and violent experience and to be embroiled in one as grand as the one that currently threatens the Empire in such a manner is a serious undertaking. We of the Lion are well aware of the rebuilding and restructuring the Tonbo lands have undergone in the past year and even the noble Lion felt it worthy to assist in these matters. Many members of our esteemed clan came to the aid of such a small estate to lend their hands in having it stand proud once again. It would be a shame to have the newly erected structures to come under fire so soon since their construction. Fire that no doubt would be the indirect result of aggressive Dragon armies marching through the fields of the Lion without permission. Fires that wouldn't be quenched until the Dragon returned to their rightful place back amid the mountains. Fires that may consume the innocent Dragonfly should they decide against maintaining a stance of neutrality in these conflicts and do the right thing, denying the Dragon such easy access through their lands. Certainly the Dragon, so high in the mountains, know so very little of the repercussions of their actions of sending an army through territory not theirs. The Dragonfly, however, know the brunt of retribution and to be caught between the tides of two armies in conflict. Those who do not need the lessons of history and all that. Let us hope this does not happen in the near future.
