This thread is dedicated to all Dragon players who have passed through these boards and left their mark in both our Clan and Rokugan. Their valiant efforts and wisdom shall serve as an inspiration for all those who come in the future.
Here everyone may feel free to pay homage to the Dragon ancestors. Anyone is allowed to add other important data about them or simply express feelings and appreciation for old friends. Our first homage goes to Mirumoto Ojii, beloved sensei and samurai of impeccable honor.
Mirumoto Ojii - Wandering Sensei of the Dragon Clan
Level: 264
Glory: 44017
Honor: 22100
Form of departure: retired to a monastery.
Tired of war and conflict within his own clan and the Empire, the old Mirumoto sensei, Ojii retired to a monastery located in the north of the Dragon territories. There, he sat in meditation for 30 days and 30 nights, seeking enlightenment.
To his Lord, Mirumoto Takezo-dono, he sent his katana, proof of his loyalty and devotion, the symbol of the samurai spirit. To the brother with whom he usually conflicted, Tamori Koichi, he sent his wakizashi, the ultimate barrier of the samurai and a true symbol of honor. This is how he perceived both men.
Without his daisho, he was now free. Free to follow the path of the brotherhood of Shinsei. In their honor, he founded a monastery that would serve two purposes. First, inspire a renewed sense of unity between his divided Clan through martial training, meditation and the opportunity for members of different families to live together. Second, to offer shelter to all those seeking refuge from the war, independent of their place in the Celestial Order.
Other notable achievements
Fate: 299 (highest in the whole Empire at the time of his departure)
Taint: 0
Infamy: -100
Last Words
All is one in the Dao
Darkness and light
Shade no more
