(OOC: Well, this post is mostly to keep story registered, but if by any chance anyone want to stop by for tea or chat, feel free...)
It's vernal equinox. Yukihime watched the stars all night, the last night working on new weapons and tools to serve the Crane.
But the last message from the sky was rather disturbing. Even so it's time to go out and find all that had changed during winter time.
The shugenja bows, one last appreciation bow before dismissing the kamis that had forged with her during almost whole winter.
And finally, the door between the workshop and the office is wide open, revealing Yukihime and allowing a sudden wave of cold air to travel, like a wave, through the corridors of Kyuden Otomo until reaching the exits.
Upon the noise of the sliding door Asahina Shen bows low. He knew his daimyo was supposed to emerge at equinox. The wave of coldness passed by him and once more Shen could sense the yin chi.
Asahina Yukihime greeted him returning the bow. Behind her, withing the workshop, the enchanted items were standing. They are all of a iced blue looks, surrounded by some kind of cold fog that drops now and then and gradually fades. A yari, a fan, a pair of getas and a scroll case.
Of course, it is not awake yet. But Yukihime spared no efforts; astrology, tsangusuri arts and even meisho knowledge were combined. These are sure to awake easily and fiercely when carried by noble souls.
Before her the family magistrate had much in mind, and the sudden situation made even harder to coordinate the amount of thoughts and issues. The surprise spoke in advance:
"It's too much Yin"
Yukihime could sense that as well, but, contrary to her will, there wasn't much she could do about it.
"I believe Crane daimyos are yang enough to handle it"
"I see four itens. Asahina-sama must be a little more careful, or is Asahina-sama considering to leave the position?"
"Courtier games" - She noticed what she said wasn't exactly what she meant to say. And Shen was right. "I'm going to be more attentive from now on".
"Please, Asahina Shen-sama, update me on all I need to know"
Shen took a deep breath, seeking for time more than seeking for air. Asking himself where to start from.
