Well look at that, 57% of the Hantei clicks were on Fire Blossoms. Now that the battle's over, does that mean that everyone can stop pretending that action was in any way reasonable?

Leave it alone, Kenzo.
In other news, is there any way to farm kaneka's favors? In the whole time I've been playing, I've collected six. Makes it kind of hard to sue for peace.

I am so glad that buisness is done. Hopefully you traitors come to your senses before we have to do this to many more of your homes.

Sent from my SPH-M580 using ProBoards Well I collected 48, doing everything that was ever "pro-Kaneka" to emerald and beyond. I'm unsure where to "farm" them - I think they've more commonly been mastery drops... maybe the "increase Kaneka's influence" job in Kyuden Gotei?

Having spent everyday for six weeks working on taking down Swift Sword I think I contributed to every Spider click there. (just kidding). I left after Manji saved the princess and really didn't care if we won or not after that. Glad you guys happy though.

I'm in the same boat for Kaneka's favors it seems. I thought they might drop in his court but it looks like it was only for the mastery drops unless the RNG hates me as I've already spent about 400-500 fate there with nary a one.

Congratulations to the winners. It's now obvious you control the game and can do as you well please. Have fun. In doing so, it's not fun for me anymore after a serious effort and time investment.
It's no longer enjoyable. It was fun while it lasted. great idea, but very, very, VERY Cranecentric. EXTREMELY SO.
I may come in and click while bored, but really, feeling utterly powerless against what I view the opponets as and how they have behaved in the long run in terms of affecting the game- I'm pretty much finished.

I think the lesson is learned. As to player numbers... No data there.

Go, team Hantei! I hope we can wrap up this useless civil war as quickly as possible, but fear it may not be possible while the would-be Emperor still lives.
As a side note, I believe this battle also showed that the full dedication of a lot of players to their side can overcome a slight disadvantage in the number and synergy of actions offered (and if this disadvantage had been so big as to make the battle hopeless, then I believe this battle wouldn't have needed to take place anyway). However, notably in light of the Benten Seido assassination attempt, I can sympathise with some of the comments saying that the game is Crane-centric. I only hope that the lesson has been learnt there...

I only hope that the lesson has been learnt there... I'm not sure where people are getting Crane-centric out of all this. Yes they won the bride vote, but they was strongly support by several Spider, and goodness knows who else. The foiling of the assassination and the Swift Sword victory are hugely Dragon efforts (and people need to remember that the Crane took themselves out of Swift Sword mid-way). But in general, I hope some lessons have indeed been learned about resource gathering and clicking "efficiencies"

I understand some can be taking this Crane-centric thing seriously, as while some clans were furiously clicking in battle actions we were plotting to get better political actions (which in fact seems we succeed). One cannot blame Crane for playing hard for a peaceful outcome, or for playing with the cards given to us (poor military skills, strong political cards). This the way we battle, forging a truce was an obvious advantage for hanteists (because, of course, we never doubt Dragon could make it without us). Anyway, you can remember when the game was Scorpion centered… I think it’s just how players are influencing the game, nonetheless. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

All true but everyone has the same strenghts here... there are no poor military skills or good court skills.
Behind the scenes play must come from clicking, or battle oriented clans needs to have a perceivable/provable advantage on battles and so far things have been balanced around something other than clan lore.

I only hope that the lesson has been learnt there... Hiryu, hopeful Scorpion Regarding political decisions, I think that the way to "win" against the Crane (like during the Empress nomination) is to make a coalition of allies who pool their resources (votes) together towards a common option (even though, I must say, that the CotSS battle was going on at the time and I've hardly noticed the bride actions or the whole Winter Court). We should try doing that next time such a political decision appears. Of course, in such situations everyone must be willing to reach a compromise, instead of simply doing what appears to be better to a single Clan, but I think it can be done and am willing to work towards it. And I can't understand how some people can still make light of this truly brilliant feat achieved by the Dragons, Scorpions and everyone on the Hantei side (the Badger and Ronin support have really surprised me. Ours was a memorable victory). I've been clicking on this blasted battle EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last six months and I take personal offense to that ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Regarding what Jay said about it being surprising that Crabs, Lions and Spiders contributed to the Winter Warfare, I don't think its so hard to explain. There are Dragons who support Toturi, as we all know, the Yasuki support Hantei and I think that there are members of all Clans on both sides of the conflict (of course, most people who went directly against their Clan's official decision would be exiles or infiltrated agents but I think its possible, especially if you consider that Hantei is the rightful Emperor). And the Spider (hello Shokuma!), well, every single time I see a Spider participating in an important event I simply assume that they are infiltrated (with a really good jade strike proof disguise because their lives would depend on it) on other Clans ranks. No sane person would accept open help from the Tainted (no matter the circumstances, its simply not an option. Spiders are "kill on sight" to me) and no Spider in their right mind would seek to politically influence Rokugan by identifying itself as such, not after they were blatantly refused by both Toturi and Hantei. PS.: Sure Hiroshi. We also have a healthy supply of lion manes and pelts, I hear they are great during the winter ;D

But now imagine having the same support and effort and losing... Not a good taste in your mouth, it takes a few hours/days to recognise that participation is what matters and this was a good fight, one of many more, I hope! I seriously hope this was not the end as some ppl seem to see it. It was a battle lost to a 20%-30% advantage in the middle of winter. The Lion have been molested and the Crab have been "ambushed"... the only peace efforts came from the Crane and the Lion. Hantei apart, as he seems to like to be, you have: - The Lion with a major Feud against the Scorpion and the Dragon - The Crab on the losing side of Clear Water Village and CotSS - Unicorn have backed the guy who is losing a bit too much - Scorpion allied with the Dragon, betrayed the Crane with the assassination, got "betrayed" by the Dragon who pointed fingers at them. - Dragon are on a roll, capture a castle, kick Kaneka and saving the empress! - Hachi seems to be the best general around, low key battles and wins! Do you peace anywhere?
