Fighting the Yobanjin

I am disturbed with the fact that I must raise medium infantry which has become particularly difficult to fight the yobanjin. I have over 130 heavy infantry that I drag with me everywhere I go and they aren't good enough. This is starting to make the game tedious.

Why can't you use a higher grad infantry than required?

I guess heavy infantry will be useful once full blown offensive by shogun starts. Right now there's probably no tactically-reasonable way to use them.

Patience! I am sure we will see use for all the heavy infantry soon enough.

Hope to see not too soon anything that needs medium infantry again.

Different kind of infantry have different purposes, so I am fine without the option to use another kind of infantry to get the missions done. But maybe there should be missions to upgrade stuff from one kind to another (almost like the recruits changing into infantry)... Or just the implementation of a trading interaction, so players could trade with each other what they need...

Hmm maybe a use for the interact button when the big fight breaks out... combining troops for bigger results. Either by offering your troops for someone else to use, or someone offering their troops to your superior forces for better use.

It would be nice if you could actually raise medium infantry. It takes forever to get enough mons to raise ashigaru and then only about every 10th one is a medium infantry. There is just no way to raise them as easily as light infantry or heavy infantry. It is very frustrating and beginning to anger me.
